If this is true, wish he would show this type of passion during games, especially with Refs and players when they give a half effort.

Believe it or not, it's not all about Pearl. People are disappointed over his body of work. If his years here had been better no one would be screaming for Pearl the way we have been. It never would've taken off this year were it not for the inconsistency and bad losses. People will always love Coach Pearl but the reason for the frustration at Coach Martin is fans expected better of Martin and this team given the time and talent level. Even Pearl fans like Martin as a person, it's the coaching that has frustrated people not the man.

Folks will hold on to anything. Let the man finish the season. Geez, we live in a scrutinized world.

He is the 10th highest paid SEC coach and we are only the 3rd SEC team in. Do I think he is a great coach? No. But he is our coach. Lets go win.

I support the players 200% just like the football team when Fooley was there. Don't have to support the coach because that means he might think the fans support his lack of passion and lack of creativeness.

If Cuonzo has success, then the team does. I don't think CCM is the coach we need here, but I absolutely support any sort of success no matter who gets the credit.

He means his true fans! I am not a Cuonzo fan, and I have never been. But, I have been a Vol fan longer than he has even know what being a Vol is all about.

He is now dead to me! But, as always, I say GBO, even if I have no respect for him as a person or a coach!

It's gotta to the point anything he does or says will be turned against him by a large contingent.

There were people saying he should've gotten T'd sticking up for Maymon. Can you imagine the outrage if he would've been T'd at that point?

He's in a no win situation with a large portion of the fan base, the only thing he can do at this point is just win games.

WTF does this even mean? Yes, I would prefer UT to make the NCAAT and Martin still be employed over not having any sort of success. The UT AD probably feels the same.
