I really don't buy in to this strategy. If it gets anyone fired up, it's the fans. And if you want to be really cynical about it, why would anyone think it would make a difference? Martin can't get players motivated on his own, so why would they all the sudden respond to a technical? Not to mention you almost certainly give up 1-2 points in a weak attempt to "fire up the squad."


Motivate your guys with your coaching. Get in some kitchens and demand more intensity and better play.

Cuonzo and a technical foul just don't go together. I agree with others that it's not hard to get one. The way I scream at the refs at sporting events would get me a technical foul for sure. Let me coach the bb team.:)

I'll volunteer to teach them how to get a tech. Or just put me on the end of the bench as a vol asst for one game and I'll get you one the first time I see your ugly ass offense cross midcourt, flip off everybody, then walk to the locker room. Just go Kenny Powers for 2 seconds and get it over with.
