Would obviously miss his NC connections, but I'm not sure how much he brings as developer or scout.

Bring in an offensive minded assistant coach to replace him. Someone who is not only good with offensive X’s and O’s (an area where Tennessee isn’t bad, IMO), but who also develops guys on the offensive end.

I’d love to hear some names who might fit that description.

Highly doubtful that Pember doesn’t move up in class. UNCA to ETSU is a lateral (unnecessary) move. It really just gives him all the more incentive to make the move to a high major.

Wouldn’t surprise me. He was Cal’s lead assistant at Memphis and took over as HC there after Cal left for UK.

I think Beard would have to move down a conference because of what happen. If North Texas coach goes to Texas Tech, then Beard would go there I think
