Cut to NC State?

Funny how every thread breaks down into OrangeSquare worshipping the coaches because he knows them, and branding people that dont agree with them as uninformed, disconnected, or just plain out wrong.

Take off the orange shades. It would do your credibility some good.

:good!: :good!: :good!:

Man, you just perfectly described OS. Too bad we all aren't "insiders" like him. Wonder why he even comes on this board to discuss UT ball if he already knows everything already?

I hate to say it cause I want Cutcliffe to stay, but I think the NC State HC position would be a good fit for Cutcliffe.

Its in a weaker conference where it is easier to win, their isn't much in state competition for recruits, and he still gets to stay near the Knoxville area that his family apparently likes.

It seems win, win, win for him. I'm not surprised if he is interested and pursues it.

I'd be more worried about Cut looking at W.Va if Bama, or someone else, get Rodrigeuz out of there. IMO NC St. is not so easy because the fans there have an expectation of winning and the traditional conference powerhouses will not be down for long. Also, he'd have to recruit against Butch Davis.

Sorry, I missed you at the last coaches meeting when they gave out the report cards on the staff.

Why don't you get over your hatefest and admit you know nothing about the inner goings on of this team and that you aren't qualified to say that Trooper hasn't "proven" himself. He's had the most productive units the last two seasons on the team, which is his job.

I know because I support him, you and others automatically have to hate him, but give me a break.

I am probably going to kick myself for getting involved in this discussion however I do have a few questions for Orange Square...........since you claim to know so much about the program, the coaches, their duties and are "friends" with some of them.....

When was the last coaches meeting that you attended?

If you attended a coaches meeting, how did you get in the door?

What "inner going's on" of the program do you have actual first hand knowledge?

Do you have an association to the program other than a fan and/or donor? If so what???

Have you attended practice???? when and number of times???

No, obviously I haven't attended coaches meetings. My point was that no one other than COACHES have, so trying to pretend you know what the coaches know is silly and that's what he was doing.

I can't say what all I know about because some things I know about, I'm not supposed to.

I have attended practices, more times than I know. I would give you a number if I could, but I can't.

In a nutshell, here is the situation. I am not a member of the team in any way. I have muliple friends within the program that give me different information from time to time. I also have access to most practices whenever I want to go. Most of what I'm told is stuff that the average, knowledgeable fan would already know, but sometimes there are things I hear about that I can not discuss fully, coming from people that I can't site, or I would get them into trouble. I do not pretend to be the all-knowing. A lot of people on here that disagree with me, tend to take things I say and streatch them to fit their own judgements of me. I do have more access than the average fan, but the only thing that gives me, is a little more perspective from which to see these men that play their hearts out, and the men that coach their hearts out. That's why I'm not as critical as people that barely go to games. I have a wider perspective and that's it.
