I'm picking now bc I'm on day 5 of 12' shifts from 2300-1100 and I meet with our builder tomorrow at 1230, I will be tired and distracted.

Well, the beginning of the LSU/KY Super is the last of the Day 1 games to begin. This officially eliminates StarRaider because, I assume, of his self-imposed ban.

Alas, only 7 of us left.

Well down I go. Winning this pool was one of 3 goals I had in life, and now it’s ruined.

Six of us still standing. Here's an update so everyone is sure about the rules for the SCWS.

Pick one team you haven't burnt to win from the four Game 1 games, which are spread across two days.

If you win, pick one available-to-you team to win from the four Game 2 games, also spread across two days. You may pick from either the winners or losers bracket games.

If you continue to survive, pick one game from EITHER the losers bracket final (two of these, one on each side) or from the two semifinal games (one each side), being the FIRST game between the winners bracket champ and the losers bracket champ. No one is allowed to pick a winner of any second elimination game that may be forced.

It is possible to end up in the CWS Finals with both teams available if all of your previous picks are eliminated and you use your last pick on the losers bracket, who goes on to get ripped by the winners bracket champ.

If any of us make it, we will rehash the tiebreak scenarios for the Finals, which I'm told has something to do with the RPI of survivors who haven't passed out before midnight.
