They did have a couple of injuries early on that hurt them. The pitching after Skenes was not good for a while, but they have really turned it on. Quite impressive the last few weeks.

Agreed about their bullpen. They’ve really stepped up when their team needed them the most.

Just got back from CWS game. Sat next to a lady from Omaha who has been to last 50+ years of CWS games. Long time season ticket holder at Rosenblatt and now at the Chuck. She said this was her favorite CWS ever due to the close games and great crowds

Game tonight was terrific and LSU crowd was loud and plentiful. Two very evenly matched teams. Omaha has been a blast. Flying back to the ATL tomorrow night. Not sure if I will make tomorrow’s game or not.

I’m mostly being a negative Nancy right now cause I got halfway to Denver just for my husband to call to tell me he missed his flight 🥴 lol. So… I drove an extra 20 miles to get me some Chic fil A (don’t have it here) sat in the parking lot and ate it, then drove 2hrs back home. Have to get up early to go back to Denver tomorrow to get his azz. He better not miss this one 🤬

Haha no, it’s ok. My husband has no sense of urgency. Never has, so him missing his flight doesn’t shock me sadly lol. Something on the lines of, his phone died, he got a beer, lost track of time, his flight boarded 10mins early.

Lol, I understand the Chic fil a. I lived in Canada for 7 yrs for work. Loved it honestly, great people, but the only Chic Fil A was at the Calgary airport. I lived in Ontario so it wasn’t convenient. I did make it there once but was sadly disappointed, not up to standards. Ontario has sense made things better on this front. I can remember smuggling chicken sandwiches into Ontario. Sounds ridiculous, but I did it.

Funny you ask, but yes. My daughter is the reason I smuggled in Chic fil A in the first place. She was only 4-6 years old at the time so she had no idea dad was breaking the law. But my little girl loves chic fil a. Had to do it. I soon got her interested in poutine and cabbage rolls also. As well as all the awesome ways Canadians fix potatoes. It might honestly blow your mind.

I got a 15 year old, he would eat chic filet everyday, as nice as the drive thru experience is I hope I never see that place again..like next week. Teach him to drive he can hit it all he wants.

Lol, I feel your pain brother. And your right, they have an awesome drive thru, but I don’t care to be there every day. I will admit, I do love their chicken sandwiches. Living abroad did educate me on how good they were. I’ve a pretty decent recipe for their sandwiches and for Zax sauce as a result
