The series may come down to if Cags pitches like he did against Tennessee and Vandy at the SEC Tournament or what it has been like more recently.

With this umpiring crew and his control......i'm concerned.

He’s just not having a good Omaha trip. Sucks for him. I feel bad for the guy. But as costly as his two errors were, I’d place more blame on the offense if we end up losing today (which seems likely at this point). We’ve had the bases loaded 3 times I believe, and I don’t think we scored at all. Or did we get 1? I don’t know. Leaving RISP will be the story of this series if LSU loses.

Yeah man, go back to the Tennessee games and you'll see we did the same.

What this does is allow Florida to continue to throw their turds and possibly not use Slater.

Slater would be the guy to take over tomorrow if Cags doesn't have it.

No run rule in this one. After thinking about it, I don't think either coach would want this to be run ruled. If you're LSU, maybe Florida has to use an arm they don't want to.

If you're Florida, you want some of these guys to keep "getting right" and build some confidence getting some hits.

Id be completely shocked if Skenes starts. And if he does, I would lose all respect for Jay Johnson. I also believe it would have a negative effect on recruiting as well. You have to show you care about your players’ futures, and starting Skenes would be the opposite of that. I personally don’t think they should even use him out of the pen. I think you’ll see either Hurd or Herring start. Both will be used, along with Cooper, and hope they’re good enough.
