Weather looks crazy the next few days in Omaha. Could be good for us, could work against us. Hoping these teams fighting through losers bracket don’t get any extra rest. Long delays and late night games would be ideal.

Anybody know how they deal with it?

There are two games today, two Wed, up to two on Thursday. So between 4 to 6 games and 4 days to get them played before the championship series.

Yep, Sully doesn't make the same mistakes as he did in their series with UK. Believe 1st game is a toss up. No idea on where either are with pitching. Don't think either of them would hit Zander hard.

If Zander pitches the way he has lately, I love our chances. I’d take a solid 5 from him, then hand it over to Kirby, Snead, Combs. I’m not worried about hitting FSU or UNC. Let’s end this thing tomorrow.

The order of the games remains the same.

1st game probably gets played but 2nd beginning to look iffy. A double header in the B bracket works for me.

Going off the rain forecast of Omaha I think the first game will be played today (UNC vs FSU) but the second (UK vs UF) will be rained out. UK and UF would play tomorrow at 2 and we would play at 7.

Principles:
1. In the event of inclement weather, every attempt should be made to play both games scheduled on a particular day.

2. In those instances when only one game on a particular day is cancelled (e.g., first game played and second game rained out), three games should be played on the following day to get the event back into its original structural format.

3. In the case of a halted game, the remaining game schedule should be adjusted so that there is no possibility of a team playing more than two complete games in one day.

Coach V is a good one for sure... I was just helping him pro-bono with a database when he was the head of the wrestling coaches association and thought that was funny.

Yep, always liked Coach V, and he does a great job on Facebook of keeping all Halls alumni updated on classmates who have passed, and other alumni events that are taking place.

UNC and FSU having to play their game before the rain hits means no day of extra rest and our gametime tomorrow may be pushed back. However, if FSU and UNC would’ve been the game to get postponed to tomorrow, the winner would’ve had to play us with it being their 2nd game in the same day.
