Completely agree but can't see Butch biting...although I would already have a cowbell ordered.

This may end up being an outside the SEC hire. Look at FL taking the chance with an assistant pitching coach from Clemson.

The jump from the Ohio valley to the SEC would be a concern. I’d go Butch Thompson or Cliff Godwin if I was Cohen.

I am hearing in Miss that Henderson is the odds on favorite if he wants it. Did a great job in a bad situation and he may be energized again. If he makes the WS and he may, it is his!

Hope Gary Henderson gets the job,,,,he's done a great job at MSU this year with all the distractions they had,,,That would be a tough situation for any coach coming in,,, crap any job in the SEC is tough coming in...IMO Oh well they will have to figure it out...Go Vols!!

Spot on! When Henderson was at UK he had no upside to selling the program and did pretty decent for what he had.

Its going to be very interesting what Cohen does, I can understand him not hiring Henderson (and this is age racist) because of his age however he brought a program back from the dead earlier in the season. He evidently can still connect with kids.

If he hires a new coach, Henderson must be retained with a pay raise IMO, probably won't happen however.

Not sure why, pitch count is the factor...only threw 115 pitches the entire weekend. Bragga is certainly watching over that situation. The stud pitcher from Missouri State in the same regional was warming his left fielder up each inning the day after starting (shouldn't he be resting his arm).
