D4H's 2017 College Football Season Preview

You see Kevin Hogan play for the Browns Saturday? Led them to a nice scoring drive. Looked better than Kizer.

I think he's got a chance to be the starter down the road.

When your "look what I predicted" is citing somebody going 5 of 11 and a 77.1 rating you know how low your bar of being right is situated.

For that matter did you see where Goff is #8 in yards and # 11 in rating?

Could you have predicted what he did Saturday? Throwing 3 straight passes on 1st and goal at the 6 inch line when you have a back like John Kelly? Or how about playing cover 2 zone with 9 seconds left to play?

I expect Butch Jones to be a wimp and kick a FG from the one inch line. I also expect him to mess up the timeout situation. I expect him to play for FGs and overtime rather than trying to win in regulation.

I didn't think it was possible to be as stupid as he was this week. The cover 2 zone call with 9 seconds left might be the worst coaching decision of all-time. Totally inexplicable.

It's Lyle's norm. He always made stupid coaching decisions. The talent always bailed him out.

It's Butch man; my scoffing at your NC prediction had nothing to do with talent, it had everything to do with the guy in the head phones with the red face.

He just needs a chance like Hogan. I still have faith in his ability.

So if Taylor never makes a roster, which at this point is more likely than him ever seeing a regular season carry, you still won't be wrong because he wouldn't have been given a chance?

Awesome.

Now hang on...are you insinuating that being given a chance to prove oneself good enough to make a roster for the 49ers, Seahawks, Chiefs and Falcons and failing should be construed as being given an actual chance?

Why you all continue to engage that idiot, I'll never know...

There's very, very rarely a reason to actually engage him. There's lots of opportunity to make fun of him though. And when a guy launches gems like

"Now you're getting it. Those "experts" that agree with me are geniuses. And those "experts" that don't are idiots."

and

"I’m just good at spotting greatness."

it's completely guilt free.

Exactly, if our player development wasn't so terrible, this would be a playoff team. Jones is terrible when it comes to football stuff except for recruiting.
