Did you not watch how many true freshmen were making plays for Oklahoma? I know it's easy to act like it was obvious now but in the PRESEASON when I made that prediction, there were many people saying Ohio State was arguably the best team in the country. People were going crazy over their o-line. The Ohio State hype in the PRESEASON was insane. And I saw right thru it and said it would Oklahoma coming out on top.

You're completely full of sh##. OU came into the game ranked #5. To say "nobody" was giving the #5 team in the nation a chance of winning at the #2 team in the nation in the second game of the year is plain idiotic.

Ya they can be but South Carolina isn't improving at some rapid rate actually i might even argue Bentley looks to be regressing

The disparity of talent and coaching is so heavy in Clemson favor man I don't know what the hell you think you see but SC isn't beating Clemson for a long time imo

South Carolina might have 2 wins left on the schedule maybe 3

NEW PREDICTION: Georgia will win the 2017 National Championship.

I hate to say it cause I dislike Georgia so much. But this will be their year.

Kirby Smart will win the natty in year 2.

I know. My preseason prognostication isn't great but in my in-season prognostication is money.

Last year I was down on Clemson in the preseason. But as the season progressed I was one of the few that had them beating Alabama for the national title. In the lead-up to the playoffs I was saying it was Clemson all the way.

This year my mid-season pick is Georgia. They will win it all.

You still had Tennessee making the playoff after their second loss, a 39 point dragging at home.

Georgia almost lost to ND, Alabama will blow them out in the SEC T game --- IF they can beat UF to win the east

I don't know what will happen in the SEC Championship game. Its possible that both Alabama and Georgia could be undefeated at that point and even with a loss, they could both make the playoffs.

All I'm predicting is at the end of the season it'll be Georgia holding up the national championship trophy.

D4H: I'm great at predicitons; after Clemson scored with 1 second left last year, I successfully predicted they'd win the National Championship!

Impressed by Kirby Smart?! The same Kirbyy Smart at UGA that showed that he wasn't going to be outdone by CBJ in clock and game mgmt. THAT Kirby Smart??? As for their FR QB, UT would make Waterboy seem like the next coming of Johnny U. Puh-leeeese.

Predicting the future is a tough job. At the start of the season its murky. But as we get a few games in, the picture becomes clearer.

And FTR its not like I'm picking the obvious favorite right now. Most people still think it'll be Bama or Clemson winning the national title.

Me picking Georgia at this time is still a bold pick.
