Great game tonight. Morris was just too good. If he pitches like that the rest of the season, everyone in the West and Wild Card races will have to keep an eye on the Giants. The Padres lost, so another day off the schedule with the Reds in the WC lead.

Hate to rip a fan favorite, but Adam Dunn is the most overrated player in the majors. He makes Kal Daniels look like Cesar Geronimo defensively and can't put the ball in play against good pitchers.

A complete disaster of a weekend. As an aside, Matt Cain has exceptional stuff. If he develops at a normal rate, the Giants have a real horse for years to come.

Maybe the whole NL west will just sink into the ocean. We get the Wild Card by default then, right?
