Yeah I heard his quote and what he said was just true. I don't get all the outrage.

If it was someone who hasn’t been a perennial contender for the playoff since its creation, I’d understand. But Dabo has literally been the playoff the most times behind Saban. I think he knows a thing or two about keeping a team from mailing it in when everyone is saying all they have to do is “win out and they are in”

I think it's just more ironic at this point that he even opened his mouth and mentioned TN losing to SC and then in less than a week his team did the same thing

Well the Sunday after our loss, we were a team in front of Clemson they needed to lose to get back into playoff mix.... Of course he was going to be asked about it.

“Flipping burgers” was a dumb way to say it but he was right. The defense came out like SCjr was gonna roll over for us. Was it Bumphus that admitted as much?

I don’t think they laid down because of some argument with Hooker over Banks. No one wants to lose with a championship opportunity on the line. That was just silly talk.

I think CJH stopped a potential toxic locker room situation from what i've read and i think it's possible that might be a reason for the performance against South Carolina.

After listening to Dabo's original flipping burgers comment, his explanation and intent was exactly what he said in his most recent comments. All he said is that if Tennessee had taken care of their business against SC then they would be home flipping burgers knowing they were in the playoffs while watching the SEC championship game. Anyone needing to ostracize another individual really need to come up with a factual reason as opposed to something this contrived. Being honest with oneself is the first step toward enlightenment.

It may have been a small contribution to being in the wrong mental state but that’s like saying the defensive players didn’t care about a chance for championship over a petty locker room spat. I just don’t buy that.

I do think they had gotten a little full of themselves and their 21 point spreads. They got punched in the mouth early and failed to respond.

Bad games happen and we aren’t good enough to overcome that. It was a chitty way to learn a lesson.

Dabo reminds me of Herbstreit. They both will say anything to make themselves look good. They are both dicks.

Dabo said his comments about Tennessee were really a compliment…

Comes with the territory? It's called quit chipping your gums/running your mouth. He just needs to worry about his team, and not bring Tennessee into anything that doesn't concern him or his players.
