I actually didn't think his comments were that bad. Imo, thats exactly what happened, we overlooked Sc, because we had cfp on our mind more than the game with sc. To me that is basicaly what he was saying in the first comment.

Exactly. It’s another example of fans wanting to be offended. All he was saying was not to look ahead and that Tennessee was two games away from being able to chip during championship weekend with a spot in the bag. For the life of me I can’t understand why people get so mad at stuff like that. He was absolutely right and he was using it as a cautionary tale, but his team messed around and found out anyway. It didn’t bother me at all.
