I'm not sure what the choices are but if certainly go lower than that. Someone attempting to enter your home after bedtime is reason to defend. But unless the old man is senile or has other cognitive issues I think some charge is appropriate.

If I'm 85 and someone is rattling my storm door at night and I open it and see a black kid in a hoodie, I'm probably gonna shoot first. Any crime they convict the old man of is going to be a death sentence.

To me the Texas cheerleader shooting is worse...that dude had no legit reason to be shooting...my mind says there is more to that story but idk. Almost seems like a drug deal gone wrong...and the dude was involved in another shooting a hour earlier

yeah, it was a stupid example of a bunch of dudes packing

a DJ speaker fell over and people thought it was shots fired. all the packers pulled up their shirts to show they had a gun. they were told to leave and somebody got trigger happy and people started shooting.

just a bunch of idiots - no "weapons of war", no crazed person shooting up a bunch of randos. just our lost generation of youth doing what they so frequently do.
