1st off Andraya didn't play as a freshman.... She redshirted.... Andraya also has bad enough knee problems where she is contemplating giving up the game she loves.... That can greatly effect a players abilities and confidence which may explain her struggles... As for Te'a, she has twice the skill level than Andraya ever possessed.... She has to play under control and let the game come to her more... She led our team in scoring against Wisconsin Green Bay while shooting 7-10 from the field.... She also had 16 points against Ohio state while shooting 6-10 from the field.... She did struggle like the rest of the team against a zone defense and holly needs to fix that. Te'a will be a baller for us in coming years and I am so glad she chose to come here.... No one will outwork her.

I do believe she played 7 games her freshman year and showed a lot of promise on defense and scoring. She kept having trouble with her shoulder so they shut her down and she had surgery. She must have been granted a medical redshirt.

I think Holly has done a good job of addressing post problems with the two players we have signed. Now if we can get some people to improve their offensive games that play on the perimeter and maybe get another three point shooter to sign that is consistent we may be able to win many games next season.
