glad to see he is getting us in with the big guys just as good as Kiffin was this time last year.

All these guys have visited UT this week except Dawson and he will be here tomorrow.

Nick O'Leary- 4star,#36 Overall, #2 TE
Jacoby Brissett- 4star, #230 Overall, #9 Pro-Style QB
Curt Maggitt- 4star, #12 DE
Avery Walls- 4star, #152 Overall, #9 S
Lamar Dawson- 4star, #95 Overall, #3 ILB

And don't forget, we will have at least 3 Rivals250 guys here next weekend for camp: DeAnthony Arnett, Justice Hayes, and Jonathon Rose.

The Rivals Weekly Whispers had some great news today:

Florida State likely trails Georgia, Clemson and Auburn and could be passed soon by Tennessee, which has emerged as a dark horse in this race. Tennessee defensive line coach Chuck Smith has done a great job with Drew; Smith also is a Georgia native and recently put Drew in touch with former NFL great Michael Strahan, who will apparently will act as a mentor for Drew.

If Drew were to decide today, it likely would be Georgia, but he won't make a decision until around National Signing Day, so keep an eye on Clemson, Auburn and especially Tennessee; FSU is expected to fall out of the picture.

- on Ray Drew

Sources say Countess favors Tennessee slightly over Georgia Tech and Stanford, but offers from North Carolina, UCLA or Clemson could change things.

- on Blake Countess. He is a 4star, #16 CB, and #239 Overall

I doubt we have much of a chance with O'Leary or Maggitt but who knows.

I feel very good about where we stand with Walls and Brissett and you can bet we will be a factor from here on out with Dawson.

Looks to me all those who are worried about recruiting need to chill for a bit

Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

We hear of guys talking positive things about UT but even the ones who were supposedly on the cusp of committing haven't. I do not believe the sky is falling or anything of the sort... but would like to see some solid commits from some of these guys before "chilling out a bit".

No commit is solid.

I know but it doesn't hurt to dream.

Thanks LV, great stuff as usual. Too bad many on this board cant give Dooley and staff the benefit of the doubt, support, and the time needed to build a contender.

It's real early and if any program want to talke notes from UF over the last three cycle maybe it better for kids to wait until they camp then take visits before committing....names like Reid, Robinson, and Dorsey committed early then change their minds later. Now with coaches like Meyer, Saban and Brown "pulling" schollies when they visit rivals after being long verbals IMO many of these kids are going to take their time and enjoy the process.

Any specific or are you just ball-parking it?

well, back about a month ago I said I think we have to have 5 commits by the end of June. if we didn't have 5, then recruiting wouldn't be going good. same goes for the number 8 by the time the season starts. jmo though

I think all of these guys are pretty much locks to commit this summer and I was banking on them being Vols:

Justin Worley
Kyler Kerbyson
Cam Clear
Rory Anderson
Allen Carson
Randolph is committing very soon and i didn't think he would be a Vol at the time. Now I do.
Crowder will do something soon.

Dunaway, Brissett, and Walls would be the out-of-the-blue guys to watch for.
