Dangerfield commits to UConn

Connecticut doesn't win titles because of their post players. I wouldn't at all say that is the strength of that program.

We may not need Dangerfield, but we'd better start getting our act together on the court, and soon, or it will get tougher and tougher to get top players. We are already losing ground to southern schools that would never have taken a big-time recruit from us in the past. We need to start winning some big games, get to the Final Four, and we need Holly and her staff to show that they can coach with the big boys. Haven't seen that.

UCONN wins because they have great players all over the floor and are the best coached women's team on the planet. However if you don't think their frontcourt game is a constant then you don't keep up with them. Their latest edition features Brianna Stewart. Going back to players like Lobo, Cash, etc they have always had strong frontcourts.

Don't see how anyone can argue that UCONN hasn't been out recruiting us for many years, even before Warlick took over. And they have another loaded class coming in again. They are truly the premiere #1 team in Women's basketball today even though it is painful to write.
