I don't the paid gum flapper. But in the SEC, anything can happen. Just ask Bama, and even Texas. Personal Take: I believe the Wildcats are basically, a demoralized team right now. I question if Stoops is even welcome in the UK locker room at this point. I think they are further demoralized by the fan base oin general, giving up on them.
That said, these times that try the souls of kittens. In such times, men, whether an army, a nation, or a bunch of untamed felines, can drag themselves. Brush off the dirt, wipe the muck off their hands, grit their teeth, and decide to do or die. Never underestimate a seemingly defeated foe. Even when outgunned, fatigued, short-handed, even leaderless. Just ask the WWI era Lost Battalion, or WWI era Hellfighters. There are times the tiniest spark of pride can result in an unprecedented fighting spirit.
I believe our team can, and will curb stomp the Kentucky stray Fells, but beware of presumptive and overconfident arrogance.
The key in games like this, the #1 priority is to never give them any belief they have a prayer of winning. Start fast, get the Neyland crowd even more lathered up and rocking, and have this thing wrapped before the half. Letting a hurt opponent hang around into the 4th quarter is a recipe for disaster.
