Since we are going into fantasy land, why not say that we want Bobby Knight to be our coach. You do realize that he and Pat Summitt are good friends.
I heard that Dean Smith was bored and considering a return to coaching. He mentioned on ESPN lately that he was waiting for Mike Hamilton to give him a call.

fantasy land? make a logical suggestion yourself, I was merely trying to start a discussion.

Yeah Bobby Knight could choke Scotty Hopson and give him an attitude adjustment and Lawvol might shut the hades up......:crazy:

I heard coach Knight had some land in Sevierville and his wife was a UT cheerleader in 1912. Just sayin

Some of the Pearl worshipers can't face that he's not going to be here much longer. This is a legitimate topic. With that said, I would not be in favor of Danny Manning.

I'd love to see them gauge some big name coaches' interest like Pitino (99.9% pipe dream, but he's my favorite coach) and Jay Wright (still probably a pipe dream but more realistic than Pitino). I'd start there and then contact Mike Anderson, Turgeon from A&M, and then go to Gregg Marshall.

The most likely choice is Gregg Marshall, in my opinion.
