It ended well. The question now is will there be a second season? A DD vs. The Punisher series arc could be cool. The Owl is out as a villain unless Leland Owlsley miraculously survived his fall down an elevator shaft. Perhaps The Gladiator? We've already been introduced to Melvin Potter and it's no secret he's dangerous when provoked.

I think there will be a second season but it won't be until after this first round of Defenders series.

Charlie Cox season 2 will come out before The Defenders group season. Should start filming around middle of this year.

Totally shocked by that and dissapointied at the same time.

Overall I was pleased with the series. Definitely captured the grim and gritty DD eras. The nods to Gladiator, the Hand, Karen's sketchy past, all great.

I look forward to future seasons and hope some of the movie characters make the occasional cameo.

While I can understand people being upset with this (i was fairly saddened myself), I'm liking the decision/direction more and more. it completely shocked me when it happened, and has made me feel much more worried for what's to come to these characters next season (basically the no character is safe expression slightly amplified).

I don't get why people cared? I suppose he's in the comics but seems dispensible.

Also this show has been out a month now. When can we stop worrying about spoilers?

I'm halfway through so I didn't read the thread but I'm already tired of the same fight sequence - especially DD down and almost out then musters the strength to do it all over like nothing happened.

Just a quibble. Good show overall and it's good to see Rosario and Jessica from True Blood.

Yeah, I definitely don't watch for the action. Few shows/movies interest me from an action standpoint, anymore.

He played a pretty big role in not just Daredevil but Spider-Man as well. Since this is shared U and Sony is working with Marvel to integrate then the character is no longer available there either.

But is he central to any storyline? Like Bishop...if you kill Bishop you can't do Days of the Future Past.

Just seems like if you need a journalist you can write a new one in.
