Daredevil - Netflix

But is he central to any storyline? Like Bishop...if you kill Bishop you can't do Days of the Future Past.

Just seems like if you need a journalist you can write a new one in.

He eventually figured out DD and Matt are the same guy. He also outed Norman Osborn as the Green Goblin. Sure you could replace him with another reporter but he's got quite a bit of history with the character so why create a new character to do the same stuff.

BTW, Bishop wasn't introduced until almost 10 years after Days of Future Past. He did however, play an integral role in Age of Apocalypse.

I only collected from like ages 12-14 (and never read much more than X-Men and Spiderman) so I'm no expert, but I am a nerd. I hate every kid this generation. All I ever wanted was good comic-based TV and movies. Now that I'm old it's everywhere but I only enjoy a fraction of it.

I don't get why people cared? I suppose he's in the comics but seems dispensable.

Also this show has been out a month now. When can we stop worrying about spoilers?

probably because he's a fairly important/popular character in the comics? perhaps there was so much more to explore with his character that will now never come to fruition? i don't quite see why you think people shouldn't care. you're acting like he's some nobody.

also, we're probably at the point where we can move on from spoilers. anybody who has yet to watch it, should be wise enough to know not to come in here until they finish it. or at least not this far into the thread. but i don't really care. if anybody thinks we should keep spoilers, i'm fine with that as well.

I asked for no spoilers on the first page but I'm finished now so spoil away. LOL

One thing that's awkward about the Netflix releases as opposed to weekly shows is you don't know where everyone is in the series. Some people can watch 3-4 episodes per day and others are lucky to watch 1 every other day.

I do agree though, it's been a month and those that haven't at least started the series yet should be aware that it's open discussion now.

Nobody spoil The Godfather! Just got the DVD! :stop:

Still dissapointied by lack of visual display of powers. There was just the one scene with Clair.

I want something like this...

Show runner is describing Season 2 as "Daredevil vs Punisher".

My guess is the first 4-5 episodes they don't cross paths. Then there are a few episodes where they collide. The last 2-3 episodes they begrudgingly join forces to defeat bigger threat. Afterwards the Punisher slips away to end the season.

Probably right. Considering their vastly different views on how to deal with criminals, I can see them being at odds. My guess is early on they go after the same criminal and Punisher kills said enemy in front of DD, starting a small war between the two until they eventually team up.
