Darius Thompson to start tomorrow vs Xavier

I don't think he's quite 100 percent; I'm also inclined to say it wouldn't matter all that much even if he was. A solid backcourt tends to play better at home, and I just don't think we're ready for a road test like this just yet.

Well you're welcome to your opinion, hopefully you're wrong though.

Are you aware of the multiple injuries xavier has in their backcourt, such as their starting PG?

Who thought it would be a good idea to open the season at Xavier? This is a terrible idea, IMO. I have no issues playing there, but it shouldn't be the first game. The last thing CCM needs this season is a third straight slow start, and that's exactly what I fear will happen if we lose this game. I hope the decision pays off big time for whoever made it with a nice win for us, but we should be playing someone like Tennessee Tech tomorrow and save the Xavier road trip for mid-December.

It's not the first game. Just the first one that counts.

I hope Tennessee's walkons are better than Xavier's walkons. I'm pretty sure that all scholarship players will foul out.

What about our advantage in the paint?
