The movie was really freaky. Ledger was amazing. I give the movie a 95/100. Very, very good. Rottentomatoes is giving it a 94/100 right now if anyone cares.

^ Rotten Tomatoes is basically an average of every major reviewer in the media. So I tend to like the Tomato-meter.

I need to see it again. I was extremely tired and had trouble staying awake after the hospital scene. That's just because of me though. And the fact that the theater I was in was like a freakin' sauna. Me and all 15 people I went with came out drenched in sweat.

Heath Ledger as the Joker, though... Will go down as one of the better film villains of all time, though. His character was two-dimensional, created entirely as a metaphor. The yin to Batman's yang, with only one motivation. He had no arcs, no valleys. And Ledger gave him so much depth, but kept him so mysterious. Not to mention absolutely stealing the screen. I remember multiple occasions going "I want to see the Joker again. Now."

Great, great movie. Ledger is as of now a shoe-in for best supporting, and the movie will get a well-deserved best film nom.

There is a good possibility that The Dark Knight and Iron Man will both end up with best picture noms, Robert Downey Jr. will get a best actor nom, and Heath Ledger is probably locked into best supporting. Wow.

I think this movie was much better than Iron Man. I personally just thought that Iron Man was overrated.

Its an above average flick and Ledger deserves all the pub he's getting for his performance, but the movie's not best picture material.

Best movie I have seen in a while! Ledger was epic. Its 2.5 hours of brilliance!! There were about 5 climaxes.

Bravo!

Christopher Nolan put together a masterpiece. I had lofty expectations that I didnt think the movie would be able to meet and not only did it do that but it exeeded them. It was brilliant. Job well done on all fronts.

Batman the Dark Knight. I had to go 35 miles from home to see it at midnight last night because it was sold out everywhere.. It is one of the best movies i have ever seen. Ledger is awesome as the Joker. Puts all the others before him to shame. I think the UT band needs to get some music from the soundtrack to play at the game. Just like they did the Gladiator soundtrack.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but what's even more amazing is, Heath Ledger died before the film was completed. In some respects the had to finish the film with what they had.

I hadnt heard that, but I actaully wondered that during the film. I figured there had to be a reason behind our last scene of him hanging upside down.
