went to the 12:01 show in Turkey Creek Friday morning. There was a lot of people dressed up as joker, some were pretty good. Others just looked stupid as hell. I also like how they had all the signs and lights in the place covered with Joker sayings and "vandalism"...I know all this has been said..But a great, great film.. Ledger was super. I feel the same way milo did, wanting to see Joker in every scene. The only thing i didnt like was how the last scene of Joker was him just hanging upside down, laughing. I will definitely go see this in theatres a few more times. If you haven't seen it, stop whatever you're doing, and go it now.

I hadnt heard that, but I actaully wondered that during the film. I figured there had to be a reason behind our last scene of him hanging upside down.
According to writer/director Christopher Nolan every Ledger scene was done when he died so I guess he just wanted to end it that way

Great movie. Should have waited until tomorrow though, going to the 1140 showing maybe wasn't the best idea...got kinda tired at the end.

But...did yall see the preview for the Watchmen? That is going to be nice

Saw it at midnight on Thursday night/Friday morning. I had no idea it was going to last that long. I didn't get home until 4:30ish. But it was definitely a great movie. I wanted to try to compare the first batman to this one but to me it feels like they are two very different movies. Both equally good but both really different. Idk...anyone else feel this way?

Also I've never even heard of Watchmen but the preview looked very good and I had a buddy who had read all the novels who was geeking out during the preview.

they were very different. This one was much darker. This had plain evil strewn throughout the movie. The first had villians with reasons-- however stupid they may be. But like Harvey said the night is darkest just before the dawn.

Yea he's the guy screaming "awesome!" during the movie everytime Batman uses a weapon or something. Funny and annoying at the same time.

It was definitely darker. Christian Bale seemed like a completely different person in this movie.

Also I'm kind of glad fake Rachel died...

i agree. i dont like that girl, she's ugly.

bale is a true actor. you can tell that he puts everything into his roles. dark roles especially fit him, because i dont really see him being a comedian. michael caine is the best alfred they possibly could've ever chosen.

i need to watch the old batman movie again, it's been a while since i've seen it.
