Dave Hart Press Conference Tuesday

Hard not to agree with this. I would however agree to a extension and a raise with the stipulation of beating Florida or Alabama or else the raise and extension is void.

How about we don't give him a dime more? Why on earth would we? He has literally no suitors. Nobody wants him to coach their team.

Insider tells me Cheek getting canned and then installing field turf over the top of him. Just another cadaver under the field.

It's probably to announce that they were all just as confused as we were with the LSU coaching rumors.

I think it's just to troll VN.

Hah, that'd be kinda hilarious.

10:15 -- Coach Barnes steps up to the podium. "Ahem, thanks for coming. Hey, VolNation? Bazinga." He steps down and leaves the room.

11:00 -- Dave Hart enters the room. Walks right up to the microphones, taps them twice, looks around, smiles, and says, "Bazinga, Freak and all you Freakazoids."

11:30 -- Butch Jones takes center stage. "Hey, all you individuals at VolNation? Bazinga." A smile and a wink, and he's gone.

We would deserve every bit of it, too. :)

Relax man, like I said, I require serious stipulations. LOL

On a serious note, the only reason you give him a raise and an extension this year is because after next year it will cost you even more to do it. Cause we gonna whip dey a$$$$$$$$es

But seriously....why Rick Barnes AND Butch Jones? If it were football related, why is Rick Barnes there? And obviously it isn't basketball related (1st year coach at the start of his first season), so why is Rick Barnes there?!?

As of right now, there are no announcements to be made, just a media availability. None of the three are scheduled to be at the podium at the same time. With no practice for football and limited practice for basketball, this will be the regular weekly media appearance for both coaches.

Barnes has addressed the media prior to Jones' Wednesday sessions on a couple of occasions this year, as have other Tennessee head coaches. The volleyball coach went last Wednesday. It's a courtesy to the media, who can come and set up all at one time and get sound from a variety of people.

Hart hasn't spoken publicly in awhile, though he has done interviews with media members. The press conference is a chance for him to answer a variety of questions on a variety of topics.

Kentucky's field looks great. I am also in favor of field turf.

Kentucky is likely going to remove their newly-installed turf this offseason or next. I'm not sure of the reasons, but that's what I've been told by multiple people connected to their program. Ole Miss is definitely going back to natural grass next year.

Chances on field turf next year? Less than 5%?

Hart should be fired for letting the field get this bad. Not to mention hiring Tyndall. And being a bammer...

I didn't say exactly that, but there will be things done to address the look of the field late in the season.

Oh Ok - just that when you said he wasnt invited to the meeting about the field, that didnt sound to positive for the guy and his future

must be those cancer stories the media keeps promoting - ESPN even had a E60 clip on it just recently. Alot of high schools and small colleges are going to get burned financially if they end up having to replace theirs
