Who is paying for the bailout of the UT athletic department.

Have you heard anything about money in escrow? Don't answer that. It may not be there after all.

If anything Bill owes it to make Hart play ball otherwise UT football might need a loan from the state.

First off, Clay Travis is a moron of incredible proportions. Just dropping his name hurts your case. Of course the rest of your post on its own merit is worthless as well.

It's not Hart's job to temper fan expectations. He's done nothing wrong and any rumors about clashing with boosters or botching potential hires are unfounded and most likely untrue.

It's almost like all of you people have transposed Hamilton's sins onto Hart. Gruden is not walking through that door, and he never was. If you are looking for someone to blame for that its Gruden.

Who is hired to coach football, compete with our rival and fill the seats in Neyland Stadium next year does.

It is all up to Hart.

You are dead center target here.

It's not even got anything to do with whether Hart actually blew a shot at Gruden or not, it's the fact that Hart let the Gruden rumors run wild and make this program a laughing stock for the past two days.

It's the fact that two weeks into this deal, we have no idea where the end game is at.

He doesn't have to do a press conference over every rumor, but issuing a statement that could have disqualified Gruden without directly naming him was plausible.

Simply say that we are looking at a coach who is familiar with NCAA compliance due to our being on probation. It disqualifies Gruden from the coaching search without directly naming him and saves some face with this program in the national spotlight.

Simply saying we have identified several candidates and are in the process of conducting interviews over the next _ days gives the fan base some idea of when this process may end.

Instead, we haven't heard jack sh-t in 2 weeks now.

Agree with kclaw...get off this hate...There are No homerun coaches out there!! 14 days and some are ready to riot....no matter who he hires, it will be our coach....get over it and get behind this team!
