Dawg Fans Talking Smack

You'll get no trash talk from me. I don't expect Tennessee to beat Georgia but I'm well aware the Vols are capable of winning.
Frankly, losing to UGA is not the end of the world. Especially if you go to the SECCG and get your asses handed to you. 11-1 might just get us in the CFP. If not... oh damn we would have to settle for a NY6. There are very few of us that can honestly say they saw this coming. I thought 8-4 was going to be a good season and that 9-3 would have been extraordinary. This borders on surreal.

He’s actually been talking trash and is on here to troll. He also said he’s not mad and gets snippy with me and others via smack talk. Zero self-awareness.

With the exception of @BAMA-DAWG (who actually seems to remember he is on a rival board and acts accordingly) the uga fans in here resemble uga fans everywhere.

Let me be clear. Zippy, Slo, et al are probably fine people, love their mom, work hard, take care of their family, etc. But as fans, they are simply annoying.

Uncle Lou is annoying.. who cares about his opinion of UT ...doesn't effect anything ...blah...blah...blah

I get it. Except for the fact that the UGA fans are so obnoxious, I won't lose any sleep if we lose to them. And then Hopefully Ole Miss kicks their ass in ATL.

I’ve definitely noticed a difference. UGA fans have gone from talking to me about football at the beginning of the season with an undertone of pity to one of high alert. They know the East is going to be ours or theirs.

I don't have the time right now per say to go find the evidence I have personally seen, but I can pull some quotes I remember real quick.

"Tennessee is ovverrated, they barely beat mediocre Alabama, Pitt, and Florida teams, Dawgs by two touchdowns"

"I guess the AP pollsters haven't seen Tennessee's defense. Not sure why they think they're number 3"

"We will torch Tennessee's defense and win by three scores or more, because we're simply the better team"

"Tennessee will lose to Kentucky in 2 weeks, that's the best bet of the season, Kentucky is way better and I am worried about them more than I am UT JR."
Dude, that hurt your feelings? Seems pretty mild to me. I mean, UT is the feel good story of the year and all, but uh, do you really expect a rival team's fanbase to bow down and anoint your team National Champs?

No, I much prefer the spirited back and forth.

Couldn't agree more. And that is why I am continually amused how uga fans on this board seek and demand praise of all things uga, you being the rare exception that does not.

I didn't say it hurt my feelings at all. You're putting words into my mouth. I don't expect a rival fanbase to annoint us anything, but the same ol tired excuses of why we aren't good is a miserable failure to actually research or watch a Tennessee game. The "we're the best college football team in a billion years" attitude is dumb as hell too. If you wanna try anything else, reply back and try again.

They know what’s going to happen. It’s just a matter of whether it happens now with the low star team or later with more talent. Kirby can’t even outcoach Nicky and our guy made Nicky look awful.

My boss is a dog fan and is being so obnoxious. When the first thing out of his mouth was “Tennessee hasn’t played anybody” I quit listening. But anyway, he said our defense sucks and we won’t be able to stop their Te’s. He also said we won’t know what to do when we don’t have Rocky Top in our corner, assuming he’s referring to be on the road.

He also says they have the best defense in the country by far. I simply just want beat these annoying ass barking grown men so bad

Sorry, not trying to put words in your mouth. Hey, I'll give you that TN played their best game of the year against Bama last week. Heupel & Co had a good game plan and your lads executed well. Props to Smokey. But your team has some flaws. Should UT make the CFP, you are going to see some defenses who aren't going to allow you 30 points. I'm not sure you can hold UGA below their season average of about 42. Just my opinion based on what I have seen.

I assume you're referring to me. For starters, I'm not mad. If you're mad you're probably taking something you have zero control over way too seriously. My point about Pitt is that even a good team can have a close call. If you want to assume UGA's close game was indicative of who Georgia is or how their game with Tennessee is going to play out, have at it. You are likely in for a disappointment.
I honestly think Georgia’s issue is they have had such boring games against some mediocre to very bad teams. They have yet to play in a hyped up highly anticipated game this year unless you consider the opener vs Oregon a highly anticipated game/
