I agree that this is not a Butch Jones type of recruit. Does seem odd that those big schools don't seem to be pushing for him and instead are going after other guys. Not saying he's not a stud but just something to look at.

They're not pushing for him bc football is his 2nd sport, kids a Olympic runner with his speed

I’m sorry, but I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t want this guy unless he’s just unbelievably soft. He’s an absolute freak of an athlete. Is it one of those he looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane scenarios with him?

I would say finishing with a better ranking than us would be a stretch. They are recruiting very well right now but other than this guy they have nobody on their prospect board. We are the same way with our board but we have the NIL to gain some big guys that they won't be able to get. Our NIL will help us to land some big names, and this staff is taking some massive swings at some very large guys right now. I trust Rodney Garnder to give us the stud DLs at the end of the recruiting class that would help a lot.

100 percent lol. I don’t really care if he’s soft or not he’s not coming here. I’ve watched his film twice now, dude can be soft all he wants and he’s still getting to the QB.

Feel like people are sleeping on Beamer because we killed them last year - they seem to forget we had the same record as them (with their bowl win) and they beat Auburn & Florida with horrible QB play and are putting together a great class. I still think we beat them this year but SC fans are huge on Beamer and I'm interested to see how they improve this year.

They’ll be 5-7 maybe 6-6 this year.

agree. they get Ark and aTm from the West, and Clemson, in addition to GA, FL, UK and us. 5-7 is where i have them. anything better than that, imo, they've pulled off some relatively big upsets.

i rewatched our game from last year against them. i think we win that game, handily, regardless....but early in that game, there were some really key mistakes USCe made that really allowed us the opportunity to blow that game wide open. defensive penalties, turnovers....the interception in the end zone, if they scored a TD on that possession, it would have been 14-7. instead, we take the ball and a few minutes later, it's 21-0, game over.

it was bad match up for them. but it could have been a lot more competitive early, if not for the mistakes they made.. USCe was definitely one of those teams that if you got early in the schedule, the better. that was a better football team by season's end.

so while i still think we should beat them again, it's in COL, it's year 2 for both programs, and both programs feel like they're on the way up after solid year 1's on both sides. if their season goes like i think it will, it may be beneficial that we're playing them so late, sandwiched between UF and CLemson....
