DC Black Hawk vs Plane crash, Philly Crash. Malicious, or incompotence?

May mean nothing... sure is interesting how they kept her name out of press, then scrubbed her social media, and even her mothers, and two sisters social media completely

Does mean nothing.

And yeah, her family probably didn't want a bunch of absolute psychos in their personal lives.

What would cause a plane to veer like that? Equipment failure/ loss of control. Medical emergency..... Wouldn't there be a copilot to take over?
I know an engine failure on takeoff before reaching a certain airspeed (vmcg or minimum control speed on the ground) can cause it if you’re not on top of your game. If you crap an engine before reaching vmcg there is a huge difference in the amount of thrust on each side (asymmetrical thrust) basically swinging you like a pendulum towards the failed engine.

This is DEI.
DEI is based on human identity (gender, race, religion, etc). Veteran preference isn't DEI, its a benefit afforded to all veterans (like that parking spot at Lowes) exclusive of human identity. If anything, its a form of nepotism. DEI was essentially cronyisms mildly retarded cousin brother from Alabama.

Under Biden the DEI portion came into play when we were shown a breakdown of the race and gender identify of the applicants. It didnt specify their names luckily. That only happened though if it wasn't an all White applicant pool. No DEI pie chart? Its all White folks. I've got a screen shot of it somewhere Ive been meaning to post for like 2 years. One of these days Ill dig it up.

Source: The now unemployed DEI "Advocates" and "counselors" that "trained" us simple management folk.

Diversity of experience.
Equity for disabilities
Inclusion for making people of all walks want to work for you and feel welcomed.

Re: color, I think if you're in an area that has a diverse population in gender, race, religion, etc and your office is 100% white and mostly dudes, that should cause a little pause as to whether you're hiring the best or if there's something going on where you're not getting qualified applicants in front of you. I'm curious as to how interviewing would look with ZERO gender, race, names. For many companies, they'd probably end up interviewing a more diverse crowd.

I bet you would get a diverse crowd. When I go through applicants resumes I typically do my best to ignore the name. But a sign of the times I guess..is that people like to put what special clubs they belong to like "Black employees for Jesus" or "1000 Grievance Filer Club". Thats always a turn off. Tell me about how good you are at your job, not that you belong to a racially based club or that you're an ate up union tool trying to get a management gig because you didnt get elected to the executive union board.

I dunno she only had 500 hours, and two of the last years were as a WH aide....rather unusual career track. more likely she was leaving WH cause orange man bad, and was training to pick up where she left off flying. However, that's a rather short number of hours to be flying night near an international airport. But she did KNOW people. In any case none of that in itself says anything, just interesting data points. Just posting things that I think are interesting.

That’s about as basic of a mission as you can get. Fly an altitude and follow the river. I was selected as a Pilot In Command in under 500 hours. You have had army helicopter pilots flying combat missions at less than 200 hours since at least the Vietnam War. Don’t make this into something it’s not. Two pilots ****ed up and a lot of people died because of it. It was a dual PC cockpit on a route they fly a few times a week I bet. This time **** just happened to go wrong.

I was waiting to see if we’d have a helo pilot chime in on the hours. Frankly for a helo 500 hours sounds like quite a bit to me based on how short a lot of the hops can be. If anything she had more preflight, takeoff, and landing cycles than a fixed wing pilot at similar time I was guessing 🤷‍♂️

Nature of air travel for whatever purpose. Anomalies are usually tragic

Doesn't look like the plane made hard contact with runway

Looks like a potential landing gear failure?

I just clicked on this thread to say I thought it was a pretty hard landing. The glide down kept on going and the pilot didn't seem to flair the landing. Navy carrier pilot?

Am curious what other pilots on here think.

Normal descent for a fighter jet is 700fpm, that plane was doing 1100… incredibly hard landing

Plenty of other pilots are disagreeing with this assesment, though I will say most stories I have read are focusing on ATC mistakes. However it is clear because of her position in Biden administration she got treated differently.

In the end. The video and reality of what happened will continue to speak for itself.

There's no issue with this dei stuff, it's all a bunch of biggots. And non pilots should never have the audacity to question the capability of pilots...

"Online speculation" as a source, absolute garbage
In addition to the technical details of the Delta crash, online speculation has turned toward the identity of the pilot and the potential influence of DEI hiring practices. Endeavor Air has publicly promoted the use of all-female “unmanned” flights, with TikTok videos from the airline showcasing its commitment to diversity in the cockpit.
