They are trying to flip Fountain and Bates. I know that's not on the OL, but potential flips nonetheless. I personally don't have an issue with our current OL class.Tennessee already has a lot of commits/realistic targets, so don't need to try to flip someone if they aren't 100% on them. Losing a lot tho so portal will be important to bring in experience to complement with the high upside young talent imo
Same. This would be a bonus. Kind of odd that he reached out to us and no publication really seems to have us as a major player for him. They are trying to flip Fountain and Bates. -VQThen there is IMG offensive tackle Jordan Seaton, who did a 16 minute interview with Josh Newberg of On3 this week, and never mentioned Tennessee once. Tennessee has been steadily talking to him and the plan was for him to visit the UTSA game, but he recently talked to Tennessee about switching that weekend to visit for the Georgia weekend in November. It’s hard to see him visiting at all with him mentioning so many teams, but yet not mentioning the Vols.
This one just feels like a kid toying with schools. There is a reason his recruitment stalled, schools backed off, and he had to reach out to Tennessee and others to restart his recruitment. I don’t get a good vibe from this kid.
UT needs to tell this kid, no, thanks. Not a fit.
I just want to make sure I am clear. In your opinion, you have gathered enough inside information about who this young man is day-in, day-out that you have a clear picture of how he would fit into the culture of our program? You have spent that much time talking to him, his family, his coaches, his teachers. Seen his practice habits. Seen leadership qualities or lack thereof.
Volnation has spoken; your logic is irrelevant.I just want to make sure I am clear. In your opinion, you have gathered enough inside information about who this young man is day-in, day-out that you have a clear picture of how he would fit into the culture of our program? There was no uncalmness going on here. I am genuinely curious the amount of information available to him to draw his conclusion. Maybe the poster lives in the same house as the recruit. Perhaps he does actually have evidence to support an opinion that he created? Informed opinions are quite rare theses days but I was always told nothing is impossible.
This. When I heard that Ryan Wingo wanted to take his recruitment the distance, I was excited for the kid. If a school wants to bring me to the biggest games and pay my way to do so, you best believe I would do that.I bet 17 year old you would jump at the chance to spend your weekends flying around to football games, being well fed and treated like a VIP.
So let’s just relax on judging here.
No I have not. But I am not naive either.I just want to make sure I am clear. OK, Give us the background.I just want to make sure I am clear. It was an opinion. Everything you posted after “genuinely” wasn’t genuine. There was no uncalmness going on here. I assumed the multiple times that I referenced his opinion that it was obvious that I recognized his opinion as such. The question was simply is it one of those rare educated, informed opinions. Or the much more common opinion based on a tiny shed of evidence mixed with a large heaping of preconceived emotional baggage. I know you are the champion of the freedoms that ALL voices have. I commend you.It was an opinion. Everything you posted after “genuinely” wasn’t genuine.
