'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

Lol I don’t see how advocating for a level head before anything has happened yet is being sensitive but you can do what you want sir!
And I don't see how acknowledging another poster's comment (not yours, btw) about Addison Nichols's failure to produce on the field necessities your edict that I withhold my opinion on the matter for a time you find more suitable. So maybe we just agree to disagree and carry on about our business?

From Rivals:

In-home visits are going to be crucial for the No. 1 offensive lineman in the country in the coming weeks with Alabama probably still having an edge in his recruitment with Oregon and Tennessee up there as well. There is still some unpredictability when it comes to the Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy standout but the feeling is that Ohio State might be slipping a little unless they can get him to campus in the coming weeks.

I still think he chooses the good guys in the end...think his relationship with Elarbee and Heupel win out.

How would one “produce on the field” without being on the field? 🤔

Two fields, practice field and game field. Success on one leads to time on the other.
Not all of us are privy to these shadowy deep throats blabbering to a message board poster about his failures. So excuse my justified skepticism.

If Elarbee likes Karic, he may be on an island amongst the staff. I guess if you've only got one guy in your corner, it's best that it's your position coach. Hopefully another year in the system helps, but you don't typically recruit transfers in this era with the idea that they still need to develop. You're looking for immediate help and production, of which he's provided neither.
Karic did provide immediate help. He started Game 1 and other games here when healthy, and graded well. And it’s hard to be productive while injured.

Karic got bullied a few snaps at UF. He needs to get stronger, but he’s aggressive and has good feet.

If we have 5 better OL than Karic by September, that’s good too. Not related to him, just know he didn’t suck this year.

I thought Karic started because Lane had to fill in for Mays at center. In any case, I wasn't impressed with him, particularly in the Florida game you mentioned. Once he returned from injury, he wasn't impressive to me, either. Perhaps never fully healthy upon his return, though. Obviously, I'd love for him to succeed because he'd bring experience to the line at that position. Hopefully it works out for him in the offseason.

When he came beck healthy, he started over Lane at LG after Mays was beck at Center. I thought Lane was better, but Elarbee likes something about him. Maybe he wasn’t fully healthy. Regardless, he needs to get bigger and stronger.

"I continue to like where Oregon stands with the Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy blue-chipper, who took an unofficial in the summer and returned again for an unofficial during the season for the win over Washington State. The Ducks are one of a couple that I think are in great position. Tennessee is up there for Seaton, he always speaks highly of Florida and Alabama is another I could see Seaton landing at. As Seaton starts to line up his final trips in December, look for Oregon to get one of those trips and I believe they’re in a really good spot down the stretch."
