Both tremendous return guys but CP is on his way to being the best kickoff return guy ever during an era that’s slowly eliminating the kickoff altogether

CP has one more TD on kickoffs. What’s surprising is that he has ONE career punt return period for 9 yards. I’d have to say that Hester is the hands down best returner in NFL history with 25 total TD’s. HOF worthy if they ever let that category in.

One more TD in just over half the time, but I agree Hester is probably the only pure special teamer that’s HOF worthy.

I’ve always wondered why CP hasn’t gotten a chance at returning punts in the league. My main guess is that they don’t trust him to make the decision on fielding them.

Never known him as a fumbler and he’s electric on designed runs, so yeah it’s a mystery.
