Was just wondering why do you think DeAnthony Arnett is still riding the pine since he transferred to Michigan State Univ. from Tennessee

He was an excellent receiver and I didn't see any last night for MSU that appeared any better than he was.

There was since talk of him redshirting, but he played a few snaps earlier this year.

Maybe...because he is kinda sucking...?

From earlier this year MSU Coach Dantonio on Arnett -

"We didn't want to play him in a game where there was a blowout because of the potential to do that, and so we held him on that," Dantonio said of Arnett being missing from a 55-17 win against Youngstown State where 10 players caught passes.

"He's a good player, but he's got to do certain things a little bit better in certain places, and that's just the nature of it. If we can redshirt him, we probably will."

The lack of production from Arnett thus far has been a surprise. He caught 24 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman at Tennessee and received a waiver to play immediately upon transferring to Michigan State for his sophomore season. He ended up with three receptions for 69 yards in seven games.

Maybe more of an indication of how bad our receiving corps was. (Don't mean the guys who left like Hunter and CP but the guys behind them.)

Bowles has toughed it out so far, Arnett didn't.

The Bowles deal is mind-boggling! He's was an Espn top 150 with a great offer sheet. Also is a super high character, hard working kid. Just makes absolutely no sense. You never know what your going to get with these guys

I think it may be in his head....mental portion of the game is huge....seems to be physically gifted.

Wasn't Arnetts father dying? Not cool. You need to stop judging people so quickly .

No, I don't think so. Poor health due to heart attacks and on dialysis. But, he was that way before he signed with UT. I think he was mainly upset when Charlie Baggett left and Dooley didn't support him. I think he used father's health as an excuse. I don't think he's judging anyone.
