We spend more then any other country on earth in public education. And we don’t get the results. More money is not the problem in education. We keep spending more and falling more behind. Now we do spend way too much blowing up portions of the world far far away. But all the programs you mentioned, including the military, need cuts. None need increases.

What you lack in brains you make up for in stupidity. Receiving quality healthcare and education at an affordable price does not make people lazy. It actually makes them more productive.

Well, that's the theory. In reality it turns one sex into an over educated other who still has no qualifications for a job ... but a lot of debt.

It just doesn't work that way. It's like that recent funding effort for the wall. I believe they came up short by several billion $.

You know how else it doesn't work? Going in debt 21T for every good deed someone deems necessary.
There are 50M Democrat voters. Your reps could pass a law where Ds pay $10 per month in D tax and yall would have $500M a month to spend on every social need you like.

Gitmo is a stain on the US and every president since it was opened, as a prison. None are immune from criticism and our stance on torture is an embarrassment.

The only stain is that libs have made sure we waffled and never address who those people actually are and what they have done. The stain would have gone away with releasing any innocents (unlikely), by executing the worst, and put the rest to breaking rocks for a set period of time. "Innocents" released by fools like Obama were caught again doing the same old terrorist things. But then Obama wanted to try people (who slaughtered the real innocents) like they were just good neighborhood boys who knocked off the corner market and only pistol whipped the owners. If the enemy in war doesn't wear a uniform, it doesn't make him a noncombatant; they should simply have been executed on the battlefield.

There is no such thing as quality healthcare at affordable prices. Doesn't exist in this country, myth. The cost has been, and now is, totally out of control. There is only one way, ONE, to get the aforementioned, reduce the cost of drugs, doctors and equipment. Can be done easily but difficult to roll back.
