DEI = Racism

Hmmm....seems as if you may have some extra knowledge on this issue. Please explain further.
In this scenario Cinnamon is described as a “transgender woman” - implying she was a biological male at birth.

If Cinnamon has actually physically transitioned from male to transgender female, there are some fairly significant surgeries involved (one in particular). Not to mention likely medications.

If Cinnamon can carry their average fellow soldier to safety in a pinch I'm down.

We are in agreement.

To a large extent, I agree with both of you...but...the thing about trans people not being OK for infantry, artillery, etc is that we aren't talking about a cross dressing man here who wants to be called a girls name. We are talking about men who are "transitioning" ** to females by taking female hormones and testosterone blockers every day in order to change their bodies. Not only does the multiple prescriptions daily make them unable to be forward deployed ( cannot guarantee meds to them in a war or warzone)...it negates their usefulness in that "what good is a soldier who cannot go to war?" Taking those hormones and blockers will also rob them of the muscles needed to meet their physical tasks, or to carry an injured man to safety etc. This also makes them undeployable and a liability rather than an asset to the soldiers serving beside them.

Fwiw...I have no problem with "trans" people serving in administrative type positions in the military stateside. As long as they can be demonstrated to be mentally stable and proficient in their job. There is a serious debate that can be had that the underlying mental disorder called Gender Dysphoria should disqualify people from serving in any capacity...but personally, as long as they are competent and reliable I have no problem with them serving in non-combat roles such as office work. I understand that others will not want them in the military at all...and that many folks feel that our military should not be paying for any surgeries on "trans" people in their nether regions. There is certainly room for debate.

There's a whole lot more to it than that. Can Cinnamon live in the field with minimal personal hygiene for 30+ days at a time, does Cinnamon require any medication, is Cinnamon a distraction?

There isn’t a mobile pharmacy that follows the battalion around dispensing prescriptions?

Exactly. Can't be deployed
