Democrats plan to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday

That place is treacherous in the rain....super slick rocks and etc. I’ve seen ladies carrying little babies while hiking up to the pool beneath the falls too... nuts

It's our family place. We still have the front side land. My dad was hiking down the back bluff on our side when he was 2. With his 6 year old brother. Been down many times in days past with friends and such when the old ledge they fenced off was only way down other than the face. Sometimes easy, but when wet, like you say...But we never had any injuries. some hairy moments on the wet decent, but no injuries. It's a wild area. Putting a sign up that says "State Park" tends to make people think there's an escalator. It brings out the idiots. I've seen people toting two man coolers. There's 2 "secret" places to go down behind my house, but the bottom end of trail has long since washed out. Only a few of us know where those are. What my dad and them used to do when they were kids, I would never attempt. There's also a place you can go down the face of the falls. Pretty neat though. One of the Rangers grew up sitting on my great aunt's porch visiting.

It’s a beautiful place. Is it possible to float from the falls down to the river in a kayak?

'You're an embarrassment. You should resign': Furious Michigan voters tear into freshman Republican Rep. Peter Meijer for voting to impeach Trump during Zoom town hall

Dozens of angry voters have accused freshman Michigan Republican Peter Meijers of 'betraying' them during a heated, virtual town hall on Zoom in which the first-time legislator repeatedly defended his decision to impeach former President Trump.

Nothing will come of this trial because the Republican senators are too cowed by Trump just like the last time. Mostly a waste of time. But It certainly is not “unconstitutional” to impeach someone that has left office. That’s a worthless and shallow argument because they have nothing else. Even Presidents have to be held accountable until their last day in office. If you don’t, a President could do any darn thing they please in the last days of their tenure and that could include criminal behavior. There have to be protections in place to stop them. This at least sends a message that Trump’s behavior these last months should not be ignored no matter how the trial turns out. Just because the Republican senators don’t have a sack between them doesn’t mean he’s innocent. He’ll get away with it but the effort had to be made.

Don't worry. What goes around comes around. Your side will be relearning that lesson ... again. Dims love starting new things that come back and take a chunk out of them later. Probably comes with the territory when your mascot is an a$$.

If the water is down it might be hard. If it’s up you may not get in. Problem is coming out the bottom side knowing where to pull out. Only a few public access stretches and the private ones are heavily posted. I’ve seen people go down though. Best bet is to call the ranger office and inquire.

The facts mean he’s innocent.

You realize the basis for this is that Trump's position of authority drove the protestors? Did you know that the military has Court Martialed a few retirees, but they had to bring them back on active duty to do so? Just a couple of things to mull over. And BTW remember a number of congressional dems gave encouragement to the protestors over the summer - the ones who actually killed people and destroyed property all summer long.

I'm assuming this is a leftie since he didn't understand the constitution
Just a Republican (or at least former Republican--who wants to be associated with that dumpster fire of a party now) law professor at Berkeley who was also a SCOTUS clerk for Kennedy. But yet I'm sure you know more about the matter.

I know the attempt at humor is stupid if you actually read the doc. Lefties simply aren't funny

Nothing about what you typed here indicates this guy was a republican.

Well, there is a price to pay for having principles I suppose.
