Here is what happened. A group of ADULTS took it upon themselves to surge the capital and break the law. Those people are the ones to blame. The capitol protestors had incentive for their actions more from a summer of riots than anything Trump or anyone else said. The summer of protest and capitulation to protestors was the green light. Allowing that model of behavior falls directly on the dems. The actions by the capitol demonstrators perhaps were wrong, but so were the ones that were left uncorrected all summer. Watch and learn is a powerful teaching tool. Any parent can tell you about nipping bad behavior in the bud or watching the consequences for not doing so. The US has a history of capitulating to demonstrators; you can't single out one as wrong and let the rest slide, or worse, be rewarded.
