That’s because there has been no connection established on Trump directly causing the Capitol riot. Don’t bother with your “nuh uh!” reply I watched the Senate trial it was never established.

Trials can go wildly out of control. You never know how things might backfire or go in a direction you don't expect.

But yes, it would appear that Trump's team is lacking any coherent strategy.

Trumps defense team made more connections to precedent case law and clearly displayed the opposing party’s hypocrisy on flowery rhetoric in three hours than the idiots Raskin led did with a baseless emotional plea did in sixteen hours.
