Deniya Prawl to Tennessee!

Incredible get. Congrats all the way around. This is the thing the last staff could never do - finish out on an elite hs recruit.
Kellie's dumb rule about no jersey pics until they signed probably didn't help, coupled with it has to be the exact right fit probably turned many off when it came to making the final decision.

I need to watch her more, but I think it’s a good sign that NIL wasn’t in play here (since she’s Canadian), she chose Tennessee because that’s where she wanted to be.

No you don’t have to watch her more. All there is to know is Prawl is the #6 ranked player according to 247 Sports/#14 ranked player according to ESPNW in the 2025 class and a consensus 5-star All-American Wing.
She is worth the same money you wanted the staff to pay for other players even though she never mentioned NIL.

She may have signed an NIL in Canada. She’ll definitely get what she deserves.

How can u tell me I don’t need to watch a future LadyVol? I’ve only seen 1 game and I’ll be watching more, so I’m not sure what your point is. So I’ll try to watch as many high school games as I can. As for the NIL comment, that’s because foreign players aren’t eligible, I never said she mentioned it.

Vol Nation hears you and is with you. GBO.

Coach Kim has landed a stud. The Class of 2025 is shaping up to be top 10, with Nos. 11, 14, 56 already in the house and the possibility of getting more. GBO.

Looking at the current list on ESPN, as it stands right now with the current LV commitments it’ll put them in the Top 2.
If they add one or two more pieces this could arguably be the top recruiting class.
There’s a good chance that Mia and Deniya individual rankings could end up in the Top 10 at the end of their senior season.
Mia went from 14 to 11 in the latest evaluation period.

LSU most likely has that Top spot this year. They've got 4 from the top 30 and a couple of them are top 10. Grace Knox just put them over the top. The big get that is going to change the rankings some is whoever lands Chavez which could be Texas or USC.

With Mya due a ratings bump since she’s healed up and will play this spring!
I told Vol Nation back in October we were getting 2 out of the 3 with Deniya Prawl being the first to say lets get it!! Coach Caldwell and Staff great job of finishing. Now we have 3 of the top 60 recruits in 2025 with one more (Civil) to come!! Shout outs also to the Pauldo Twins. I know they had a lot to do with her saying Tennessee is the place for me!! Wake up people. There is a new sheriff in town ,that the top recruits want to play her brand of basketball period!! Her name Kim Caldwell.

Nope, that won’t be determined until closer to the final rankings. Mia Pauldo twice was ranked inside of the Top 10 at #7 and #8 during evaluation periods. She just trend 4 spots up in the latest evaluation period from #14 and #11. She plays for the #4 ranked team in the nation according to Maxpreps. ESPN will also likely rank her and Mya team in the Top 10.
The odds are great for both Mia and Deniya who plays for a strong IMG program to crack the Top 10. Jaida Civil is another prospect that is trending up, likely ends her senior season in the Top 20-25.
She just moved up like 15-20 spots in the latest rankings. If she picks Tennessee that’s going to give them a great chance at being the best overall class in WBB.

Let's hope that carries over to 2026 Olivia Vukosa who played with the pauldo twins last summer and is an ultra talented big that can play down low and bang, but can also step out and hit the 3. Currently ranked #5 and we are on her list. That would be an amazing get for us. Size and strength to complement speed.

I let out a yell when I saw this (yes it was a bit shrill, but in a very manly way!). My family came running to me in concern. They just don't get it how long WE ALL have been waiting to get one of the top recruits in the country. I love that she is considerably taller than many of our other players, so that should work out well. Can you imagine the defense and athleticism of having Prawl, Boyd, the twins, Cooper, Ruby, Spearman, Latham, and likely several other transfers (and recruits) that fit her our mode of playing? Watch Out!!
