Deniya Prawl to Tennessee!

But I was told no good recruits would want to play in this system, so that’s means she ain’t any good.
I feel like every time someone uses the blue font to denote sarcasm, that I want to point out to anyone not familiar with the blue font thing here -- like possibly Deniya and her family -- that someone isn't actually saying they're no good.

PLEASE make sure, in some way, to let unfamiliar readers know it's an inside joke among regular boarders. Maybe a smiley-face? A wink? An "lol"? Anything.

I need to watch her more, but I think it’s a good sign that NIL wasn’t in play here (since she’s Canadian), she chose Tennessee because that’s where she wanted to be.
NIL was definitely part of it, though you are correct that it wasn’t the biggest factor. There are lots of ways around the international player NIL restriction.

Kellie's dumb rule about no jersey pics until they signed probably didn't help, coupled with it has to be the exact right fit probably turned many off when it came to making the final decision.

I think a good bit of it was their, “we don’t recruit, we select” attitude.

Literally heard those words come out of her mouth one day and it made me cringe. Those days for Lady Vol basketball are long gone. We recruited the mess out of the girls we’ve landed this year and it has paid off already.

Looks like we’re getting our answer to the “can she recruit” question
I vote aye.

She is actually getting 4- and 5-star recruits that she wants for her system, and beating out powerhouse programs to get them. It's been a long time since Tennessee has been a heavy hitter in big-time recruiting.

That phrase started with Mickie DeMoss. And yes, Pat and Mickie did select.

Nothing to see here.

Hell, she won't be able to recruit in the SEC.
Her style sucks and won't work in recruiting or playing against SEC teams.

I told you trophies were coming after the hire was made. Stay tuned and enjoy the show......

The gal has coached two games in the SEC and landed three gems for 2025.

And, looks like Syla Swords younger sister Savvy is in '26. Currently ranked #13. If she's as good as sis, I'll take her. Another Canadian we may be able to land. No idea if we're looking at her or not.

Syla Swords is a really nice player. Her playing style just looks like an ACL waiting to happen to me though. Full speed off of one foot all the time. Always stretched out.
