Dennis Dixon looks to be done...

I guess WVU still has some tough opponents ahead of them including Uconn and Cinci I dont think they will beat Pitt in the backyard brawl.

They'll pound the Panthers by 2 or 3 touchdowns. Pittsburgh is awful this year. Considering Navy completely shredded their defense, West Virginia should have no trouble beating Pitt.

Is there any scenario where a Big 12 team DOESN"T get a title spot, assuming Oregon loses tonight?

Strike that. I think KU and Mizzou have other gmaes to play other than against each other? They could lose those.

Not a likely scenario. The way this season has been, I'm not gonna say impossible.

Kansas could lose to Iowa State this Saturday, beat Missouri, then beat OU. That is one I know of.

guys,

I don't know why but it almost hurts my feelings that Dixon is hurt and not in the game. It's a shame that Oregon is going to not make it because of this injury to their stud. I totally feel that if he were in the game that the score would be reversed. Does anyone else sorta root for this guy and this team behind closed doors. For some reason, I want to see Oregon in the Big Game. I think it has to do with not wanting some of the other teams like OSU to possibily get a shot at it. Just wanted to see if I was the only one who thought he was in line for the Heisman if he stayed healthy.

Not watching. How bad is the injury?

I feel the exact same. I was rooting for him to lead his team to the NC game. And dont worry, OSU has NO shot at sneaking into the NC game, and they shouldnt either....not by a long shot.

I have been semi-rooting for the Ducks the past few weeks. Oh well I like to see the top get shaken up as much as possible.

i don't feel too bad though. duck fans are still pretty obnoxious.
That and the Pac 10 sucks. Just had to throw that one in there after our opener... :birgits_giggle: Didn't even know this game was on since I've been watching hoops on ASSPN II. Really sucks the Ducks have a Leaf as a backup...

Have no liking for Oregon but never want to see any player get hurt. Not even a Gator or Bammer.

I guess a lot does boil down to the big 12 conference. Does anyone think Oklahoma could lose to Texas Tech or Oklahoma State?

Oklahoma State, if they bring their best game, maybe. Small chance for both of them, but Ok State has a better chance.

ducks need to show some heart. second dixon went down the entire team went "oh s-, that's the game."

Even if they lose one they will still be 5-2 in their conference and on board to the big 12 game.

If their secondary plays like they did against Colorado, it's possible. Texas Tech and Oklahoma State can really light up the scoreboard.

I get mad when I hear someone cheer when a player from another team gets hurt. why would anyone want to win against the other teams backups anyway? I never have understood why some people wouldn't want to compete against the best the other team has to offer.

It's his knee. The sideline reporter said that his father was worried that there might be some serious damage to his knee. The trainers looked at it and told him to not even think about getting back on the field.

No doubt, their defense has been horrible. They may score here before halftime to get some momentum going their way.

oregon isn't exactly known for it's team spirit. they've given up many times over the last couple of years. against cal last year, the bowl game last year. that's the kind of kids you get when the only thing attracting them to the school is fancy facilities, nike shoes, and flat screen tvs and xboxes. and trust me the whole team knows that leaf doesn't have it.

I like the Ducks but this is footbal after all. Virtually every team has injuries to contend with and this ain't a one man game. As they say, poop happens, deal with it.
