I remember one day watching Mike and Mike and Greenie was saying how people love it when a star player goes down and he was all about it. I cant for the life of me think what player it was, I wanna say Palmer last year.

Caught this thread late but I'm sad to hear Dixson out.

He was a great talent. Best wishes for a recovery from injury and career.

Well..Dixon's TD run looked great. I am mad he re-injured that knee as well. I was looking forward to watching him play tonight. I hope that it isn't too bad and he can get back out there this season.

No..I don't feel like wiping off my television screen once he finally shuts up.

He was dressed like this...

Dixon went down in the 10th game of the year. In the absence of another compelling candidate, it wouldn't shock me to see him still get a lot of votes for the Hypesman. His #2-ranked team is obviously garbage without him.

Pretty bad doesn't even start to describe it. Ducks before the injury: 9.6 yards per play. After the injury: 3.0 yards per play.

Look for Meyer to try to get Tebow about 10 touchdowns against Florida Atlantic Saturday.

I was sitting in a bar tonight next to a couple of Georgia fans who were cheering when Dixon got hurt. They were cheering because Oregon losing makes Georgia likely to move up in the rankings. THEY WERE CHEERING WHEN A H*****N CANDIDATE'S CAREER ENDED BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE RANKED HIGHER.

I'm used to classless UGA fans, but it was breathtaking.

i don't feel too bad though. duck fans are still pretty obnoxious.
+1

No doubt, their defense has been horrible. They may score here before halftime to get some momentum going their way.
Oregon has had a shaky D all year long.

oregon isn't exactly known for it's team spirit. they've given up many times over the last couple of years. against cal last year, the bowl game last year. that's the kind of kids you get when the only thing attracting them to the school is fancy facilities, nike shoes, and flat screen tvs and xboxes. and trust me the whole team knows that leaf doesn't have it.
Excellent post. Oregon State is where all the players from Oregon go, and to play with some pride. Unfortunately, recruiting to Corvallis without use of JuCo transfers is extremely difficult, and Oregon high schools only produce maybe 2-3 great football talents every year.

Wow.

I was listening to the local primetime show, one of the hosts called into a Jax station today, and every one of the hosts/callers was giving him all sorts of hell over the fact that Dixon was ahead of Tebow in the Heisman standings. I bet you Gainesville is pretty happy right now.
