Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE

It's a matter of perspective; you appear to think most spending is not fraud, waste, or partisan, while many of us think DC needs shrinking and states can more effectively spend their $ without filtering and skimming through DC. Such as education.
"Shrinking" DC by firing firefighters out West, nuclear staff in Tennessee, Forest Service working Helene recovery in NC isn't draining the swamp. Education? What is the issue with the DOE? That they force states to actually teach children with disabilities? Or that they have to strive for equity in funding and access across school zones and districts?

And states spending "their" money more effectively? Red states are gonna be absolutely boned. They don't put in what they put out. Some of these blue states are gonna be flush. Oklahoma? Boned. Tennessee? Get ready for belt tightening.

Was looking at one yesterday. 5000 soft. 10 acres. And had 12 deer just hanging out in the front yard. Only 900k. Just gotta wait for more firings to crash the market.
We're probably about to move back up there. We were going to buy a couple more rentals down in Peru but if things slow down enough in NOVA it becomes appealing...

How many times has it been demonstrated to you that precisely what you're saying is not accurate?

You and the bearded weirdo have been shown that Tennessee sends something like $4-5 for every $1 it receives. Whatever would Tennesseeans do without the laundering service provided by the feds?

PS: as a reminder to everyone, this is the goon that claimed American agriculture was headed into the toilet because USAID is going away.

Why should the federal gov subsidize red states at the expense of blue states?

Ages old technology and apparently under/poorly staffed.

I'm going to go with Space X/Elon over your thoughts. You know the old phrase: "it isn't rocket science?" Well, that's their speciality, and they are damn good at it.
Understaffed? Well then I guess it was a big brain move by Trump to fire all those ATC workers then lol. But I'm sure SpaceX will fix the staff shortages with some rocket science.

Improve the technology so it requires less people.
Or, you know, don't require certain percentages of hires to be non-white, effectively shutting huge swaths of qualified and ready white people out of open and critical positions.

I don't get where this "MuH Trump fahred all the FAA people" when it was the Biden admin that wasn't hiring them in the first place, creating the issue. Most of the hiring freezes and shortages I'm seeing were started by Biden and his group of merry morons.

Or just cut all the waste. My whole life they have been saying how things will get cheaper in government and health care by technology, but every year its the opposite.

Once people accept the Truth i.e. they're by and large scam based, it starts to make more sense. imo

Like I keep repeating, leftoids equate expense with value, results, and effectiveness, when in most cases literally the exact opposite is true.

It just bears repeating that anybody that's worked in, with, or adjacent to the feds appreciates the trimming and wants it to continue. It's only the low producing ones that don't understand anything that want the government to expand and want to keep giving their money to rich and undeserving scumbags. I really don't understand.

I'm going to set up a GoFundMe for Nancy Pelosi. If any of these VN posters here that are anti-DOGE refuse to donate we can all see their hypocrisy out in the open. The greatest trick these government people have devised is tricking broke ass baristas into giving them half of their paychecks.

🚨 BREAKING: Michelle King resigned from her position as the Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (SSA) amid a dispute with DOGE.

King, who had served over 30 years at the SSA, left after she refused to provide DOGE staff with access to data they requested.

This could be the breakthrough needed to determine the extent of fraud within the system and how to rectify it.
