Two more filings show up, on Jan. 29 and Jan. 30, indicating first the partial and then full termination of the contract. Both of those show the $8 million total contract value.

“This discrepancy appears to have resulted from a clerical error in the original government filing upon contract award. The contract value had a ceiling of $8 million,” Leah Sanders, the chief executive officer of D&G Support Services, said in a statement. “D&G is proud to maintain long-term contracts with the federal government, providing integrated logistics and supply chain solutions.”

The government error was fixed well before Monday, and when DOGE realized yesterday that their number was wrong, they simply deleted the evidence proving them wrong without updating their numbers at all lol.

It still says "55 billion" on their website right now

someone posted a series of tweets breaking down the DOGE claims. they showed the actual contracts, and actually did some of the math beyond just looking at the total value.

the DOGE tweet only looks at the total value and then just screams FRAUD!!!!!!!

to me the first tweet is far more believable than the second tweet. regardless of the government being involved in the second tweet.

They use fraud because the term is a lawful mechanism for them to look into these in first place. They always use fraud, waste and abuse.

How do we know it's not fraud....is it possible that whomever made the clerical error and made the payments are involved... without getting into a conspiracy but that type of clerical error is how embezzlement works..taking advantage of exploiting accounting and misrepresenting financial information.

"fraud" vs fraud. like racism or any other catch all term, the overapplication of it makes it lose its impact. sure currently it is driving conversation, but what happens in 3 months, once we have moved on to the next Windmill to joust at? LARGEST FRAUD IN OUR HISTORY is hard to keep selling and drawing attention to.

They are the government, they should be careful of the words they use. they need to use concise and precise language, as it all carries great weight.

It simply isn't the political reality. Remember, muckracking and yellow journalism were a thing for decades before any of us were alive. What we are seeing isn't new.
