X% cut across the board is too vague.

Give something specific and justify it.

I’d propose sunsetting the entire ICBM portion of our nuclear triade.
Our Boomers & B-21s can provide all the deterrence anyone wants to tangle with.

I’d also take an axe to the Armored Divisions.

I’m adamant that there’s less fat in defense than many believe (I’ve provided the per gdp spending previously that shows we are near historical lows in defense spending).

With that said, my main cuts would be foreign bases. Japan would be an easy place to start. And it would provide a local economic boom as you redistribute these people within the continental US
