Derek Chauvin trial

No they didn’t. Do you ever actually educate yourself on facts or just parrot emotional made up BS from your party line? 😂

Here's some facts for him

Medical examiner: Capitol Police officer Sicknick died of stroke; death ruled ‘natural’ | WTOP

The medical examiner listed the manner of Sicknick’s death as “natural,” which they defined as a term “used when a disease alone causes death. If death is hastened by an injury, the manner of death is not considered natural.”

They matter in the sense that they are the "last word" so to speak. Though the defense doesn't get the last word, as the State goes last, so they get a chance to rebutt that the defense doesn't get.

However, the big issue is that they're really just reframing information provided on the stand. The jurors still have the ability to recall that the actual examination of the witness didn't go quite as the defense tried to present it in closing.
Yeah, prosecution gets the last word. I didn’t get to hear when that witness was interviewed live and that’s why I said in another post that I can’t say for sure whether I’d vote to acquit or to convict on the manslaughter charge as I don’t have all the info. The murder charges are definitely out in my opinion. I feel like I’ve seen enough to confidently say that but the manslaughter is for sure up in the air. I’d guess 75-80% chance Chauvin is convicted on that charge but coming into today I’d have guessed 99% Chauvin would get manslaughter. From what I saw that charge isn’t a slam dunk but still more likely than not, especially under the enormity of the situation. That shouldn’t matter but it does.

Derek Chauvin Trial Judge slams Maxine Waters' inflammatory comments

A lawyer defending Derek Chauvin, who is on trial for the death of George Floyd, cited Rep. Maxine Waters’, D-Calif., comments to Minnesota protesters over the weekend in court on Monday.

"And now that we have [a] U.S. representative … threatening acts of violence in relation to this specific case, it's it's mind boggling to me to have," Attorney Eric Nelson said, as he attempted to argue that the jury may have been unduly influenced by external factors.

Judge denied the request 8 days ago. He said it would only be needed during deliberation. The defense requested it, the prosecution argued that sequestration ain't what it used to be any since everyone has smart phones these days. Judge agreed with prosecution

Sounds like a dumb move on the judges part.

looks like I overstated what the judge said.

From the article:

["And now that we have [a] U.S. representative … threatening acts of violence in relation to this specific case, it's it's mind boggling to me to have," Attorney Eric Nelson said, as he attempted to argue that the jury may have been unduly influenced by external factors.

Judge Peter Cahill said that he wished elected officials would stop referencing the case "especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law" so as to let the judicial process play out as intended.]

Of course when you install activist judges that won't pay it any attention whatsoever, activist legislators can say whatever the Hell they want. Antifa Maxie was just a bit premature in her rant. However, she will be dead in another 5 years or so, so I guess she knows it's now or never.

Activist judges are what the left wants on the Supreme Court!

If Waters had a brain in her head she would walk those comments back and urge calm.

But she doesn't so she won't.
Probably because she’s used to saying “I’m a black woman” and having it all workout wether it be elections or stupid statements. She doesn’t play by the same rules as the rest of us

If there was equal justice in this country an immediate mistrial would be declared.
