*Not going for it with 40 secs in the 4th qtr vs Missouri, then not kicking a filed goal in OT.

*Benching Bray in the 2nd qtr to put in the sophomore backup.

Dooley...You're Fired!

Based on overall winning (or losing) percentage, he technically is NOT the worst coach in UT History. S.D. Crawford, J.D. DePree, and Alex Stone were worse.

As an alum of almost 40 years and who was there for the Bill Battle era nothing and I mean nothing or no one compares to Dooley. Seriously he can't coach a lick. He took Prentiss Wagnner who was All SEC and made him a liability not an asset. Just don't get it.

OP, maybe you should have said "Worst Coach in Your Lifetime". Most of the posters would fit this. UT History, no, my lifetime, he is about as bad as Wyatt. Wyatt had two good years before I was born, but from 59 on he sucked.

Edit: CDD is worse than Wyatt even using from 59 on. Sorry.

He absolutely squandered the most explosive offensive talent we've had in decades. Bray, Hunter, CP and Da'Rick, with this offensive line and last year's defense, would have been exciting to watch. I still don't see how he did it. smh.

Dooley's the worst coach in the last 50-75yrs and it's not even close. I couldn't care less about coaches during the horse and buggy days. I'll never understand how Dooley was hired at UT nor can I comprehend why he was given a $5mil buyout clause. A lot of this is on the UT Administrators and Board of Trustees. They need to turn in some resignations.

He was already fired and knew it. That's why he pulled that crap!
