He's just not that good. His 3 point shot isn't what it's made out to be.

Let's all jump on and kick a kid while he's down.
That's the Volnation Class I always miss.
No one knows what's going on. Leave it.

I would normally not condone such tone, but people keep seriously asking about it. Anyone with common sense can see why Reese isn't getting PT, and SJA is 100% correct in that people are severely overplaying his jumpshot.

If anything Reese's demise , whatever it is, is a product of Martin's superior recruiting, that so many of you numb nuts point to.
He has 13 players that consist of 10 guards and 3 forwards.
He relies on a few tweeners to back up the 4.
Reese is a tweener in his second season. No one can deny the hard work and pain he endured to even get back to playing last season.
He deserves a little respect.

That's reasonable, but I'd disagree if you said he deserves more PT.

I'll say it again, if Reese breaks out and shows he can hang with our rotation, I will take back everything bad I've ever said about him.

Kick a kid while he's down? Just because I pointed out the obvious? I have nothing against Reese but I said even last year that his three point shooting was over blown. I'm sorry I'm not playing up him. It happens. If he was that good of a player he would be in the rotation. Point blank. I'm not bashing him just an observation.

Certainly deserves as much as Q or Edwards.
I'm leaning towards the redshirt because Martin has decided to recruit over him next season.
But if he fills is spot with another guard, I'll have serious doubts about Martin's ability to build a competitive roster.

Q, Edwards, and maybe Reese will only play in games similar to last night. Doubt you will see them at all once SEC play starts.

If we could combine all their skills then we might have something. But I think you are right.

Q plays solid D
Edwards can bring an offensive spark
and Lebron Reese brings a little bit of both, but does neither well. IMO

I believe the reason Reese isn't on the floor is the fact that Martin prefers athletes to basketball players. Reese is a basketball player who can actually shoot the ball. Armani Moore is an athlete who can't really shoot or handle the ball, but he can play defense and he rebounds. This is why they go into slumps and sometimes don't score for minutes at a time. Martin values defense over everything else. He plays a style very similar to kevin O'neil. This style can win ball games, but it can be really hard to watch when the athletes can't get to the rim and are forced to shoot outside. Atlleast with hubbs and Barton on the floor McRae is not the only threat of scoring from the perimeter.

He's gotta be hurt, CCM even put Galen Campbell in at the end. He had some good games last year, he's too good to be a mop up guy.

Well, considering Galen wasn't on the team last year.......you're thinking, either of someone else or you're confused. He played 2 years ago, but there was a competition for a roster spot last year between him and Lopez. Lopez beat him out and Campbell wasn't able to be on the team last year. However, he is back on now
