Jews are the number 1 target of hate crimes in this country. I highly doubt the MSM is gonna decide to just start covering that now. White or black, you pretty much have a free pass to say whatever you want about Jews in this country.

Is this true? Link?

I have no idea what you're talking about with the last sentence. Who was the last high profile guy to get away with saying something terrible about the Jews?

According to the FBI, 920 hate crimes were committed against the Jewish community in 2018. 2,428 were committed against blacks. 862 against gays. 1,036 against whites.

So if you meant to say per person, Jews suffer the most hate crimes, then yeah...but they are definitely not the "#1 target of hate crimes".

I'm still waiting on the very left like CNN, MSNBC, and Buzzfeed.

Want to see if they're going to be consistent on their antisemitic hate.

Why do you think the left-leaning news outlets are antisemitic, exactly? Why would the Jewish community so disproportionately vote left if the left is against them?

I love how they think that racist stuff a middling receiver in the twilight of his career says should be covered in the same fashion as the racist stuff the POTUS says.
How about the same as Drew Brees?

And what is up with this "they" stuff.....

Oddly enough the only time I've ever heard anti semetic remarks in my entire life has been from black people, and its always dropped in casual conversation like its normal to them. Talking about the media in Orlando reporting some incident that was a racial thing a coworker was like "well the Jew run media etc"..all of us White dudes were like what?
Disagree with your first sentence (that hasn't been my experience). Anti-Semitism is rampant on both the far-right and far-left, but you only hear about it existing on the far-right, like with the David Dukes or Richard Spencers of the world.

There's definitely anti-Semitism in some BLM circles, but you don't really hear about it from most of the media, because it would put a mark on a movement many of them are sympathetic to. Remember the Nick Sandmann incident? A group of Black Hebrew Israelites were there, and this fact was eventually mentioned in the media coverage, but how much did you hear about it? BHI is an overtly anti-Semitic organization.

No, I'm meaning how those outlets act when a white person says something. I want to see if they act the same when a black man is antisemtic.

But I thought we were 100% against antisemitism. You've got to be just as outraged when a black man does it

It is anti-Semitic, I am against it, and it should be (and is) being covered. But he's not a policy maker and he has no authority over anything. This is akin to Trump supporters getting their racism on, which we see everyday, but which we don't create new threads on whenever it happens.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are two prominent examples I can think of offhand.

So 40 years ago? LOL
You asked, I answered. Nice goalpost move. Ilhan Omar if you want a more recent e.xample The only real flak she received for those types of comments were from conservatives.

Omar's comments weren't interpreted by all as anti-Semitic. Fair enough, but you know if a conservative made them they'd be labeled as anti-Semitic.
